Caroline Stroud Art
Every bride and groom is looking for a way to entertain their guests and make their wedding day unique and memorable- and a live event painting is the perfect way to do just that! Here is a synopsis of my process: I will arrive to the venue a couple of hours beforehand to paint in the background. Then, I will snap a photo of whatever “scene” we have agreed upon that will be in the painting (i.e. first dance, first time walking down aisle together, etc.) and paint throughout the end of the reception and finish it up on site. I love interacting with guests and even seeing if they can spot themselves in the painting! My painting style can be described as realistic with a more whimsical color palette. I focus on getting the likeness of the bride and groom exact to where it is portrait quality while wedding guests and other significant details from the wedding (floral arrangements, venue details, band) will be added in a more “loose” and less detailed style.
